TI 2027 Audition Information
Date: Sunday, September 13th
Time: 10:00am-5:00pm (registration opens at 9:15am)
Location: TBD
Cost: $40 (payment only taken the day of via venmo, debit/credit card, cash, or check)
***There will be a limited amount of equipment to use at auditions, so please bring a flag/rifle/sabre if you have one***
Callbacks will be Sunday, September 27th from 10:00am-5:00pm. If you receive a callback, you must attend this day to be eligible for the team.
Our first rehearsal will be Sunday, Oct. 4th.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have to pre-register to attend auditions?
No! Our audition registration never closes, and you can register when you arrive on Sunday if needed.
Can I attend if I am in high school?
Yes! While we do not take high school students that have winterguard programs at their schools, you can attend for experience. We encourage this if you would like to audition for any independent group after high school!
Will equipment be provided?
We have some equipment, but please bring your own just in case!
Will there be a lunch break?
We will have a short snack/lunch break during the day! We suggest you bring food so you don’t have to leave the rec center during this break.
Is there an audition fee?
The audition fee is $40. All people attending the audition (including for experience only) will need to pay either cash, check, venmo, or credit card!
What should I wear to auditions?
Wear all black, form-fitting clothing!
Do you accept video auditions?
If you cannot make it in person, we will accept video auditions. Please email tampaindependent.com!
